The freshness of new fallen snow ...

As I write these words it is snowing ... it has been snowing in Minnedosa for much of the day ... there is however, great symbolism in falling snow ...

Today the contractors completed their work on the site of the Church. The last remnants have been removed, the road reopened, and the vast hole filled with sand and gravel, and graded and flattened ... Tomorrow morning Minnedosa will awaken to a large vacant lot on Main St covered in a fresh layer of pristine white snow ...

Can there be anything MORE symbolic then that??

Tonight the AOTS Mens' Club met at the Chicken Delight, and our conversation kept returning to the loss of our building. But over and over we affirmed the simple reality that we have before us a blank page on which to write and create our visions and dreams of what can be ...

Tomorrow we will awaken to a blank page - figuratively and literally ... The place where the Church building once stood will tomorrow be a vast white space ... a space in which we WILL vision, build and inhabit something new and exciting ...

Tonight the snow is falling ... a new month has begun, a new Church season has begun and tomorrow we will have before us a very VISUAL reminder that with this newness there is only possibility and potential ... Tomorrow we will continue our journey towards seizing it ...
